Finally got the chance to check this out. Really loving the aesthetic here! Only real problem I had was the game wouldn't work in fullscreen mode, so I had to used windowed, which is TINY. Other than that, awesome.
Really fun game you've got here. The swing is very satisfying, and the damage received sound is pretty awesome too.
Always nice to see something awesome from a fellow dev working in GML!

Ooops, previous reply was for a different window. The demo is really good. I mentioned in the video it would be great to see stats for each weapon. Oh, and to write your name (for the leaderboard) at the end. :)
